I'm an Egyptian-American traveler, writer, and guide who has spent years exploring my homeland—not just as a visitor, but as someone reconnecting with my heritage.
When I first moved back to Egypt, my plan was to improve my Arabic language skills. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with the rhythm of everyday life: hanging out at local hookah cafés, wandering Cairo's side streets, making lifelong friendships, and developing a deep appreciation for the culture.
I wanted other travelers to experience the parts of Egypt that many never get to see.
I also know that being in Egypt as a foreigner can feel overwhelming. Between choosing where to stay, figuring out transportation, deciding what to see, and navigating cultural differences… it’s a lot.
That's why I've done the work for you.
